Harrison's First Official Haircut

Lance has cut Harrison's hair a few times, but he was getting nervous about cutting it again now that Harrison is such a wild man. We took him to Great Cuts and he was being pretty fussy, so it made for an interesting appointment, trying to keep him entertained.  He was screaming at first...until I let him play with the stylist's squirt bottle.  Check out the video, it was too funny.  He squirted himself in the face for about 15 minutes straight.  Since he was sitting in my lap, of course, we were both drenched by the end!  Click on this link to see the video:

Harrison's Shades

Harrison was loving his sunglasses for some reason!  He usually tears them off the second I put them on (if I can even get them on!), but this day, he was thinking they were pretty cool!

Football Season 2009

And football season starts on a high note!  My fam came in town to cheer on The Tide and we had a great time!  Harrison slept in our room but felt the need to wake up around 10:30 every night to visit with his Aunt Julie, Uncle Walt, grandmommy and granddaddy.
The boys were taking a break from football to watch another scene from The Sound of Music.  They were dancing and singing "Do a deer, a female deer, re a drop of golden sun..."
Jack and Harrison were practicing their cheers....roooooolllll tide, roll!
Fred, Amanda and Julie tailgating.  I wish I would have remembered to take more pictures!

Harrison and Grandmommy
Harrison and Jack were more entertained by Jeremy and Liz's guest shower than the football game!  Too funny!
Jack and Harrison just loved bath time.  You can see how much Harrison looks up to his big cousin!

Summer of 2009

I came on here talking smack that I was going to be the queen of blogging and then took a 2 month hiatus! Oops! Here are a few pics capturing the busy summer that we have had! Harrison made it to the beach, Tuscaloosa, Cincinnati and the beach again. What a whirlwind it has been, but we've had so much fun getting to see family and friends.

We started the summer off with an Employee Appreciation lunch at Home Depot. We had so much fun getting to eat at "daddy's work", but I think the best part was the free segway rides! It is impossible to ride one of those without looking like a complete dork, but thats okay since Lance works in the IT dept! Here are few pics...

Next up was Miss. Lavery's birthday party. Harrison thoroughly enjoyed himself as you can see...so did Lance!
Harrison and I made a quick pitstop in Tuscaloosa to help Aunt Julie unpack her new house. Little did I know that she would be unpacked by the time I got there! Harrison had fun getting to play with his cousins, Jack and Trey! He loves to try to keep up with them.

Next stop was Cincinnati. We made our way around the city and here are a few pictures from our adventures..
Harrison loves sitting on grandmommy's window seat watching the bunnies hop around in the morning.
Jack and Harrison were rockin out to the band at Anderson Days festival
We had a great time at the Cincinnati Zoo with the boys! It had been over 10 years since I had been there, I couldn't believe how much it had changed!

Harrison and I met a few friends up at the water park at Woodland Mound Park and had a blast playing in all the sprinklers!

Thankfully Harrison didn't contract the swine flu after "blowing bubbles" in the sprinklers! The biggest highlight for the boys at grandmommy and granddaddy's house is the "choo choos". We had a great time visiting, thanks mom and dad for being such great hosts!
Our final destination was Destin with Aunt Jennifer, Anna, Emily and Grandma and Granddaddy Randolph. We had so much fun and Harrison actually got in the ocean with us this time. Hopefully next summer he will like the sand!
Anna and granddaddy had fun feeding all the seagulls on our dolphin cruise!Trying to get 3 little ones to pose for a picture, all at the same time, proved to be challenging!Going to the beach with a 1 year old is not quite as relaxing! Harrison had to make sure that Lance didn't take too long of a nap!Harrison and granddaddy having so much fun!
Drum roll please....Harrison finally made it into the ocean on our last day! Thankfully the waves died down for us. Harrison just kept licking his lips tasting the salt and saying "eww!".Miss Emily was all smiles. Such a sweet baby!

The Sound Of Music

There is definitely no question that Harrison is my child...it turns out that we have the same favorite parts in The Sound of Music! He was jammin out to the movie, too cute not to share!

Back up and running!

Okay, I gave up on the blog after 8 months but I am getting back in the game! I will not be shown up by Teresa...aka "my-best-friend-Teresa"! I'm not sure where to start with pictures since I have taken such a long hiatus, so I will just start with his most recent pics. Hope you all enjoy!
Aunt Stephanie sent this t-shirt to Harrison last week...too cute! I will be sure to keep reminding him over the years which girls are the "first and the finest"!

8 Month Pictures

Six months flew by quicker than I realized, but we were able to get Harrison's 8 month pictures taken today. They had the pictures printed up within 30 minutes of the shoot and they gave us a cd of all the images, so I wanted to share them with everyone...Out of 98 pictures, I narrowed them down to 4 and here they are!
